Helpful Hints: The optical effects can vary with lighting in the room.  The room lights should be dim compared to light coming through the portal to your eyes.  The Magic Glasses are crossed polarized with the Magic Green Portal Ring when the eye on the ring is positioned on top for the best results.  When using the sky with the toys you need to put on the Magic Glasses and hold the toy up to the blue sky away from the sun.  The best position is 90 degrees away from the sun. You can also use the reflective surface of a pond or lake or nonmetalic shiny surfaces like black glossy cardboard at an angle from reflected light.  Even your computer screen is a source for polarized light.  Open a word document for a plain white field of polarized light to play on.  Your screen will be crossed polarized with the Magic Glasses at a 45 degree angle.  With two Magic Green Portals you can position one in front of the other when both are in the vertical position and play with the toys in between.  You can also hold one portal ring above the other Magic Green Portal in the horizontal position with the provided light source.  You can even sandwich art work in between portal rings and display it in the window.  Be sure to realize that the toys must be between polarizing films to see the colors (ie between glasses and portal ring, between sky and glasses or portal ring).  Do not put hands behind the toys as this will block the light coming through the portal ring and you will then not see the colors.  Pulling of the toys too hard make the colors disappear and it is best to pull or squeeze from the sides to see more colors.  Visit our facebook page for more information as well as Glitterins TM on YouTube.  I will be glad to answer more questions.  Contact us me, Pamela Saha at 718-531-4010 on weekends or after 6pm most days.  You can also email me at pamsaha@glitterins.com.
